Nicki Huggins is a furniture and interior designer who has appeared on television which includes HGTV, A&E, Netflix, and syndication in the United States. An avid historian of vintage American outdoor furniture, Nicki created the company RetroPatio in 1998 to restore mid-century spring chairs and glider sets. Nicki now designs and manufactures chairs, both indoor and outdoor, based on her favorite little-known American design gems from the 1930′s and 40′s. Nicki Huggins will debut The RetroPatio Collection in Spring 2021. All RetroPatio Collection furniture is Made in the USA.
Nicki was the lead designer in “Fix It and Finish It, a daily syndicated design show. In the series, Nicki remodels one indoor room or outdoor space a day for 120 lucky American families. Nicki combines her expertise as a seasoned television producer along with her unique design voice in her work on the “one reno a day – 120 renos a year,” series.
An early adopter of green technology, Nicki Huggins installed the first domestic wind turbine in Los Angeles county in 2008. She lives in a converted airplane hanger in the Santa Monica Mountains.
